The Brief Biography of Dorje Jambo Choidje-lama
Dorje Jambo Choje Lama (born Muzhchil Oleg Vladimirovich) was born on November, 29, 1965 in Donetsk, Ukraine.
In 1987 he took the refuge in Three Jewels as a lay follower from Teacher Dharma Dodi. Dorje Jambo became his disciple. Dharma Dodi were lama of Ivolginsk Datsan, which is situated in Buryatia and is called "Gandan Dashi Choynhorling". That year Dorje Jambo received the initiation into Nyingma-pa School practices from other Lama, Chojchen Dorje. He became Dorje Jambo's tutor.
On May, 20, 1989 he was ordained as a Buddhist monk by Nyingma-pa School mentor.
In 1991 he registered the first in Ukraine conciliar Buddhist community - "Mahasangha" and became its head.
In 1992 he created and registered three oblast Buddhist communities of Nyingma-pa School: in Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv oblasts.
In 1993 he created the first and sole officially acting Buddhist monastery in Ukraine - Sheychen-ling. Dorje Jambo became its head.
In 1993 he was elected as a Primate (Choje Lama) of Spiritual Administration of the Buddhists of Ukraine, which includes more than ten officially registered Buddhist communities in Kiev, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Lugansk and Kharkiv oblasts nowadays.
